About the City Secretary 

The City Secretary is an Officer of the City and performs those duties prescribed by the laws of the State of Texas, the ordinances of the City of Rollingwood as well as other such duties as the City Administrator prescribes. Serving as the City's Records Management Officer, the City Secretary works to ensure the City complies with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Public Information Act, Texas Election Code and other governmental laws and procedures.

The City Secretary also provides information to the public and assists the public in locating government information maintained by the City as required by law and the City. 

 

City Secretary

Desiree Adair joined the City of Rollingwood as the City Secretary in April 2022. Before coming to Rollingwood, Desiree worked for municipalities in Texas and Arizona in Human Resources, Best Practices Program Management, and Office Administration. Desiree is currently a member of the Monarch Class of the Texas Women's Leadership Institute (TWLI). Previously Desiree served a fellowship for Engaging Local Government Leaders and the Government Finance Officers Association in which she developed an award winning Popular Annual Financial Report for Eagle County, Colorado. Desiree holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) from Texas State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics. She is a member of the Texas City Managers Association (TCMA), Texas Municipal Clerks Association (TMCA), Monarch Class of the Texas Women's Leadership Institute (TWLI), Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Urban Management Assistants of Central Texas (UMACT), Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL), and Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). Desiree has a passion for public service and is excited to serve the citizens and staff of the City of Rollingwood.
