Boil Water Notice Issued 4/28/25: Homes on Vance Lane
Rollingwood Residents,
City Staff is working to repair a water main break that occurred on Wallis Drive. While the repair is being made, water service has been turned off. Once the repair is completed and water service is restored, a Boil Water Notice will be issued to affected homes on Vance Lane. The affected addresses are:
- 2800, 2801, 2802, 2803 and Vance Lane
Door hangers detailing the Boil Water Notice will be issued to affected homes. Please follow the Boil Water Notice protocol from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) below:
TCEQ BOIL WATER NOTICE PROTOCOL
Customers should boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
We appreciate your cooperation with TCEQ’s boil water measures during this time and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Once the Boil Water Notice has been lifted, you will be notified via a door hanger and by the City’s Rave Alert System.
Thank you,
City of Rollingwood
