Public Works Operator
The City of Rollingwood is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Public Works Operator.
Performs a variety of tasks in support of the Public Works Department including effective maintenance, support and mechanical service for water, wastewater, streets, drainage, and parks services. Performs a variety of unskilled or semi-skilled maintenance work and operates a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of City water facilities and systems. Under guidance, performs installation, maintenance and operations of water distribution and wastewater collection systems. Under direct supervision, performs duties related to the maintenance and beautification of the parks and trees, street medians, right-of-ways, ditches, and other city facilities. Additional duties include maintenance and repairs of streets and drainage facilities.
Salary: $20 - $25 (hourly)
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Must possess a valid Texas Class C Driver's License
- Must have an acceptable driving record
- Up to six (6) months' experience in groundskeeping or general maintenance (preferred)
