Rollingwood Residents,

Due to the tie-in work for new water mains installed under the Water CIP Bond Program Packages 1–4, a Boil Water Notice has been issued to affected homes on Ashworth Drive, Brett Cove, Chris Cove, Gentry Drive, Hatley Drive, Kristy Drive, Laura Lane, Michele Circle, Nixon Drive, Park Hills Drive, Pickwick Lane, Pleasant Cove, and Pleasant Drive.

The Water CIP Bond Program projects are currently in their final phases, and we appreciate your patience as we work to improve the city’s infrastructure.

If you received a door hanger detailing the Boil Water Notice or if you experienced a disruption in water service today, September 10, 2025, please follow the Boil Water Notice protocol from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) below:

TCEQ BOIL WATER NOTICE PROTOCOL

Customers should boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions.

To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.

In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

We appreciate your cooperation with TCEQ’s boil water measures during this time and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Once the Boil Water Notice has been lifted, you will be notified via a door hanger and by the City’s Rave Alert System.

Thank you,

City of Rollingwood
