November 3, 2026 General Election
The City of Rollingwood holds annual elections on the uniform election date each November to elect members to the City Council. The governing body consists of one Mayor and five Councilmembers. These positions are elected at-large and serve two-year staggered terms.

Candidate Qualifications
A candidate for Mayor or Councilmember must:

Be United States Citizen;
-
Be eighteen (18) years of age or older on the first day of the term to be filled at the election;

Be a registered voter of the City on the date of the regular filing deadline for a candidate's application for a place on the ballot;
-
Have resided continuously in the state for twelve (12) months immediately preceding the date of the regular filing deadline for the candidate's application for a place on the ballot;
-
Have resided continuously in the City of Rollingwood for six (6) months immediately preceding the date of the regular filing deadline for the candidate's application for a place on the ballot;
-
Have not been determined by a final judgment of a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be: (A) totally mentally incapacitated; or (B) partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote; and
-
Have not been finally convicted of a felony from which the person has not been pardoned or otherwise released from the resulting disabilities.

The City of Rollingwood will conduct a General Election on Tuesday, November 2, 2027, for the purpose of electing three (3) Council Members, each for a two-year term. Additional information regarding the upcoming election will be provided on this webpage as it becomes available.
