Community Issue Alert
Rollingwood residents,
This is a community issues alert from the City of Rollingwood to share two items of interest for our community:
1. Eanes ISD Candidates’ Forum
Residents are invited to attend an Eanes ISD Candidates’ Forum, hosted by local citizens, on Tuesday, April 21 at 6:00 p.m. at Rollingwood City Hall. This forum is an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates and learn more about issues affecting our schools and community.
2. MoPac South Expansion Project Update
The City of Rollingwood continues to monitor the MoPac South project proposed by the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA). Information about the project and the City Council’s position is available on the City’s website: https://www.rollingwoodtx.gov/citycouncil/page/proposed-mopac-south-expa....
For the most recent updates on the MoPac South project, residents are encouraged to review the April 14, 2026 City Council meeting packet, which was a roundtable discussion with area stakeholders regarding CTRMA’s MoPac South Project and its potential impacts on Rollingwood and neighboring communities: https://mccmeetings.blob.core.usgovcloudapi.net/rollwdtx-pubu/MEET-Packe...
CTRMA is currently accepting public comments on the project through May 3. Residents are encouraged to submit feedback online at:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MPSPHComment or by email to CTRMA at mopacsouth@ctrma.org.
Thank you for staying informed and engaged on issues impacting our community,
City of Rollingwood
