November 4, 2025 General Election

The City of Rollingwood holds annual elections each November to elect members to the City Council. The governing body consists of a Mayor and five Councilmembers. These positions are elected at-large and serve two-year staggered terms. 

General Election Information

Offices for election and terms of service:

  • City Council Member (November 2025-November 2027)
  • City Council Member (November 2025-November 2027)
  • City Council Member (November 2025-November 2027)

These positions are currently held by Brook Brown (Councilmember), Phil McDuffee (Councilmember), and Alec Robinson (Councilmember).

Special Election Information

The City of Rollingwood will hold a special election to reauthorize sales tax for street maintenance on November 4, 2025.

Last day to Receive Ballot by Mail  Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. if carrier envelope is not postmarked, OR Wednesday, November 5, 2025 (next business day after Election Day) at 5:00 p.m. if carrier envelope is postmarked by 7:00 p.m. at the location of the election on Election Day (unless overseas or military voter deadlines apply).

Candidate Qualifications

A candidate for Councilmember must:

  • Be United States Citizen;

  • Be eighteen (18) years of age or older on the first day of the term to be filled at the election;

  • Be a registered voter of the City on the date of the regular filing deadline for a candidate's application for a place on the ballot;

  • Have resided continuously in the state for twelve (12)  months immediately preceding the date of the regular filing deadline for the candidate's application for a place on the ballot;

  • Have resided continuously in the City of Rollingwood for six (6) months immediately preceding the date of the regular filing deadline for the candidate's application for a place on the ballot;

  • Have not been determined by a final judgment of a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be: (A)  totally mentally incapacitated; or (B)  partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote; and

  • Have not been finally convicted of a felony from which the person has not been pardoned or otherwise released from the resulting disabilities.
