Makayla Rodriguez

Makayla Rodriguez joined the City of Rollingwood in February 2022 as the Assistant to the City Administrator. Makayla previously served as the Public Administration Intern for the City of Liberty Hill, focusing on social media marketing and the coordination of city events. Makayla graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio and holds a Bachelors in Public Administration, with a minor in Psychology. She is currently persuing her Master's of Public Administration at Texas State University. Makayla is active in the Texas City Managers Association (TCMA), Women Leading Government (WLG), Urban Management Assistants of Central Texas (UMACT) and Texas Women's Leadership Institute (TWLI). Makayla was born and raised in the Austin area and has as a deep love for the community. She is eager to begin her journey in public service and work hand in hand with the staff and residents of Rollingwood.
